Matthew McConaughey was one of the stars in hit movie Magic Mike. Now Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Channing Tatum are ready to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel, but McConaughey has decided not to star in it.
The movie director Gregory Jacobs says McConaughey turned down the role because the sequel will be "very different". "It's a road trip movie and put it this way, it's different enough that once you see it you'll understand why we made a sequel. No one will be accusing us of making the same movie twice."
The filming began earlier this month and the movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on July 1, 2015.
